Frequently asked questions
I currently offer in-home training sessions to the general South Philly and Old City areas. If you are located outside these areas and are highly interested in in-home training, an additional $5-$15 travel fee may be applied to your session price depending on distance.
For virtual group personal training workouts, you will need the minimum of a stable internet connection, a device with a camera, and an exercise mat. Dumbbells and resistance bands are also ideal, but modifications can be made in the beginning of your program while you acquire more equipment.
This session is an introductory session where we take a deep dive into your goals and obstacles, and assess your current fitness level. We will use the results of this session to "lay the groundwork" of your fitness plan and go over options best suited to help you towards your goals.
All of my personal training programs include tailored workout plans, progress tracking, and regular coaching and ongoing support to help you achieve your fitness goals.
Yes, I provide general nutrition guidance to complement your fitness program. For specific dietary plans, I recommend consulting a licensed nutritionist.
Absolutely! Your Groundwork session is designed to give you a chance to experience my coaching and training style before making any big commitments.
Those interested in the Group Personal Training program, are also offered a chance to try the program for two weeks to further experience my coaching in a group setting and engage with the other members of the workouts.
If it is decided, for any reason, that Ground Up Training isn't for you, I will always help you figure out another option to assist you in your goals.
Life happens, if you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify me at least 1 hour in advance to avoid any cancellation fees or loss of sessions.
